Likewise, in August 2017, Chris’ baby girl paid tribute to him by singing “Hallelujah” along with Chester Bennington. She took to the stage with the band OneRepublic and performed the song, which aired on Good Morning America.

On July 20, 2022, what would’ve been his 58th birthday, Chris Cornell’s baby girl shared a video of her getting a personal singing lesson from him. In the video, he plays guitar while offering her some vocal tips and working on a rendition of Love the Way You Lie. Toni released a single, Far Away Places, in 2016 and often performs at several events. In April 2022, she performed Nothing Compares 2 U on The Late Late Show. Toni Launched A Nationwide Education Initiative

After her father died of suicide, Toni started a new mission to educate the netizens about the realities of addiction. On October 9, 2020, she launched a nationwide education initiative, “Stop the Stigma: Tackling the Stigma of Addiction through Education,” on World Mental Health Day. In addition, she launched the Stop the Stigma podcast with her brother in partnership with the Addiction Policy Forum and the Chris and Vicky Cornell Foundation.

Chris Cornell’s child’s mission is to eradicate the stigmas surrounding addiction, and she plans to do so by raising awareness of substance abuse disorder and educating kids about preventive measures through a pilot program in high schools across the nation. Her first guest on the podcast was Dr. Nora Volkow, who works as the Director of the National Institute on Drug Abuse at the National Institute of Health.

While launching it, Chris’ kid wrote a heartfelt letter about his impact on her and his fans. In January 2022, she was announced as an ambassador for the International Rescue Committee. Her work has helped many, and hopefully, she will continue with the good work.
