Sir Raymond Douglas Davies, aka Ray Davies, is a famous English singer, musician, and songwriter. He is most popular as the main vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the great rock band, Kinks. Davies is considered the godfather of Britpop and was even knighted for his contributions to the English music industry.
Ray was born on 21st June 1944 in Fortis Green, London, England. Davies was the seventh child out of his parent’s eight children. He went to the Hornsey College of Art in 1962 in London and developed an interest in music from there. He, along with his younger brother Dave Davies formed Kinks and the band got their first recording contract in 1964.

Ray Davies married Rasa Dicpetris in November 1964. The couple was together until 1973 before parting ways. During their almost decade-long marriage, Ray welcomed two daughters, Louisa Clara Davies and Victoria Davies, with Rasa.
According to The Ray Davies Preservation Society on Facebook, his eldest daughter Louisa Davies was born in May 1965. She and her sister Victoria were present when their father Ray was knighted in 2017. Besides this, Louisa is not so active in the media. It seems she prefers her private life away from the media.

During the early 80s, Ray started seeing The Pretenders singer Chrissie Hynde. In April 1982, Ray and Chrissie intended to register their marriage but had second thoughts and decided not to marry. However, the following year, Chrissie gave birth to Ray’s third daughter, Natalie Ray Hynde.
Natalie is a graduate of Kings College. She started her career in the modeling industry but later decided to be a writer and activist. In addition, she has been arrested several times for her protests regarding environmental issues.

Eva Davies Is Ray Davies’ Youngest Daughter
After two failed marriages and a brief relationship, Ray was still eager to find love in his life. He met his fourth wife Patricia Crosbie, a professional ballet dancer, in 1984 at a London gym. The couple dated each other before Ray asked her to marry him on an Ireland trip in 1985. Unfortunately, the love birds were only married for 13 years and divorced.
The couple welcomed a daughter, Eva Davies on 20th December 1996. Eva is an actress, singer, and photographer. In 2004, Ray Davies’ daughter Eva accompanied him to receive the honorable CBE at the Buckingham Palace. She was just seven years old during her trip to the palace.
