Stuart Sternberg, aka Stu Sternberg, is an American businessman and Wall Street investor. In addition, he is also the principal owner of Tampa Bay Rays of the Major League Baseball (MLB). Stuart holds the majority of the company’s ownership that owns the baseball franchise. He worked with the Rays as their managing general partner since 2005 before purchasing it.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Stuart went to St. John’s University and earned a bachelor’s degree in Arts. He comes from a Jewish family and is married to his lovely wife, Lisa Kampfmann Sternberg. Nonetheless, the love birds have welcomed four kids during their marriage. Their eldest son, Sanford Sternberg, was born on 14th September 1991. Likewise, their youngest son, Jake, was born two years after his older brother. He must be in his late twenties.
The pair’s eldest daughter, Natalie Sternberg, was born on 10th November 1995. However, the couple’s youngest daughter, Ella Sternberg’s birth details, have not been revealed yet. The four Sternberg siblings grew up in privacy and must have had a great time together.
Sanford Works For His Father
Among Stuart Sternberg’s children, his eldest son, Sanford, is the only one currently working with the baseball franchise, Tampa Bay Rays. Sanford has been the Director of Baseball Development Strategy at the Rays since 2019.
Before working as the director, the eldest Sternberg sibling was the manager of strategy and development. Furthermore, he has worked with reputed and huge companies like Paramount Pictures and Goldman Sachs in the past. Sanford also worked as a Realtor in the early 2010s.

Stuart Sternberg’s younger son, Jake is not working with his father in the Rays but he has appeared on a podcast with his father for the Tampa baseball team. On Tampa Bay Ray’s 20th anniversary in 2018, Stuart and his son Jake discussed their earliest baseball memories relating it to the Rays baseball.
The father-son duo talked about their fond baseball memories and what it meant to be an owner of the team, along with the differences between being an owner and a fan. Furthermore, they also talked about winning the World Series in 2008 against the Boston Red Sox. It seems like baseball runs in the Sternberg family blood so it won’t be a surprise if Jake too gets involved with the MLB team in the coming days.

Substantially, Stuart Sternberg’s children all seem to be very talented and hard-working. Similarly, his eldest daughter, Natalie is a pastry chef and owner of Star Mountain Bakery. Furthermore, her bakery specializes in unique babkas and chalah.
Talking about her educational background, Natalie attended the Institute of Culinary Education and learned pastry and baking arts there. Before that, she earned a bachelor of arts degree from Skidmore College.
Stuart’s youngest daughter Ella attended Vanderbilt University. She graduated in Economics. Moreover, in 2019, Ella Sternberg’s parents were addressed as empty-nesters after she was enrolled in college.
