The American-Canadian singer, Rufus Wainwright’s daughter Viva Katherine Wainwright Cohen was born on February 2, 2011, to Lorca Cohen. Rufus and Lorca are childhood friends. Wainwright and his partner, Jorn Weisbrodt, “deputy dad” joined the parenting partnership with her.
On the arrival of Viva, she brought much happiness and blessing in their life. However, still, they face some kind of problem regarding their daughter’s birth issue. Rufus was offended when people called Viva a surrogate child. He took to social media stating that Lorca is the baby’s mother and she was no such thing. In tribute to her late mother, Wainwright decided to give his daughter a name after his mom.
