Zayne’s mother Mindy was quite enamored by David and was planning on marrying him before he committed suicide. Unable to handle her grief on losing the love of her life, along with surmounting tensions of her children’s custody over her substance abuse, Mindy reportedly took her own life in the same way and the same place as David. At the time of her death, Zayne was only 10 months old.
