Bruce Boudreau is a well-known ice hockey coach from Canada. Born Bruce Allan Boudreau, he served the Washington Capitals, Minnesota Wild, and Anaheim Ducks before head coaching the Vancouver Canucks. He played professionally for 20 seasons in the NHL for many teams.

Furthermore, Andy Boudreau’s father and mother divorced in the early 80s. Then, in 1991, his dad met Crystal Margaret Frey, and the duo started their romantic relationship a year later. In 1995, the couple got married. Andy’s stepmother, Crystal Boudreau, gave birth to his half-brother, Brady Boudreau.

Andy must have a good relationship with his half-sibling and stepmother. They all often spend time together on several occasions.

Played Hockey At College

Growing up in a sports household, Bruce Boudreau’s son must have been inclined towards the sport from a very young age. Also, as his dad is a coach, he must have been trained by Bruce, which must have helped him receive knowledge of several techniques and skills.

Andy attended Brock University, where he played hockey. In 2009-10, he played for the Mississippi Surge of the Southern Professional Hockey League. At college, the athlete was a rookie in the 2010-11 season, and he played in 24 of 28 regular season contests. He also recorded eight points adding three goals and five assists and even collected 12 penalty minutes.

During his first game with the team, Boudreau Jr. had his first Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) point adding a single assist versus the Carleton Ravens. He had his first career goal versus the York Lions. After the 2011-12 season, he does not seem to have played any games. In addition, he received a Kinesiology degree from Brock.

Bruce Boudreau’s Son Is A Hockey Coach

Andy has followed in his dad’s footsteps. After a brief playing career, he transitioned behind the bench. He is a lead instructor at AB Hockey Training. In the 2015-16 season, the Brock uni graduate worked as a strength coach for the Brock Women’s hockey team. Then, Banff Hockey Academy hired him as a player development coach to help run their strength program.

Bruce Boudreau’s baby boy also spends time teaching skating and skills to kids and adults of all ages and skill levels around Alberta’s Bow Valley. He also handles the administrative duties for the Golden Horseshoe Hockey School. In addition, he has experience in instructing in sports camps.

Nonetheless, Andy must be earning really well. Moreover, he must have made his parents and siblings proud of his work.

Who Is Andy Boudreau’s Girlfriend?

Going through his Instagram account, we can see that Bruce Boudreau’s son is an adventurous guy. He often posts pictures from his hike to different mountains. Furthermore, he often sets out on these adventurous trips with a beautiful girl. Looking at his posts, he seems quite close to her.
