Kate Bush, birth name Catherine Bush, is a renowned English musician, singer, songwriter, dancer, and record producer. For four weeks, she topped the UK Singles Chart with her debut single, Wuthering Heights, in 1978. She was only 19 years old and became the first female artist to do so with a self-written song.

His Birth Was Kept A Secret
Albert McIntosh, also known as Bertie McIntosh, was born to the English singer-songwriter and her husband, Danny “Dan” McIntosh, in May of 1998. But, the arrival of Bertie was kept a secret from the media and the public. Some site reports that Kate hid the existence of her only child for more than five years, yet others say that she kept him hidden from the public for two years.
Regardless of the case, it wasn’t known until a fellow singer, Peter Gabriel, accidentally revealed that Kate had become a mother in an interview. After that, the musician kept Albert in the shadows, disclosing only little more than his name to the media. Kate Bush’s baby boy continues to live a low-key life even today.

Is Supportive Of His Mom
As the title suggests, Albert is very supportive of his mother, Kate Bush. He attended and proudly watched his mom from the sidelines as she received her South Bank Arts award at the Dorchester Hotel. Furthermore, he was also the main reason behind Kate’s courage to make a comeback on the stage in the mid-2010s.
After not performing on stage for 35 years, Bush held a series of concerts at the Hammersmith Apollo in 2014. At the age of 16, Kate Bush’s son stepped out of the shadows and joined her on stage at the Hammersmith Apollo in London. Furthermore, Albert was heavily featured in his mom’s concert residency “Before The Dawn” in 2014. He has also been credited for his vocals on another track called Somewhere In Between. Moreover, the songstress has a track named after Bertie on her album Aerial.
Later, in 2018, Bertie replaced Rolf Harris on vocals on several tracks in the re-released version of Kate’s album, Aerial. Although there is only the live version available on the album Before The Dawn, he sang the track Tawny Moon along with his mom in live shows.
Moreover, Bertie also performed the song during the live shows of the album, even appearing as an actor in the third act. As per Daily Mail, he said that he hoped his performances would allow him to “earn his keep.”
