Six months after the first encounter, the lovely pair got engaged. Then, in June 1996, the lovebirds tied the knot. Their reception was one hell of an experience as 25 out of 250 people were jolted by a bolt of lightning that struck near the bride’s parents’ house.

Peter Laviolette’s son, Peter Laviolette III, was born on December 19, 1997, a year after the couple’s wedding. He attended Proctor Academy. After completing high school, he enrolled at Plymouth State University. He received Bachelor’s degree, majoring in Sports Management and Business Administration from there.
Furthermore, Peter has followed in his dad’s footsteps. He played hockey at college and high school. In September 2022, the Washington Capitals invited him to its summer Development Camp. However, the young man would not be in their organization. Instead, he signed an ECHL contract with the Wheeling Nailers. It is an ECHL affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins, which is the rival team of the Capitals.

Peter has gained significant fame and success in collegiate hockey, and now it’s his turn to shine on a professional level. Likewise, talking about his love life, he is currently dating Eleanor Hudson. Moreover, Peter Laviolette’s girlfriend also played ice hockey at Plymouth State University. In May 2021, she graduated from Merrimack College and received her Master’s degree.

Jack Is The Second Son
On May 15, 1999, Peter Laviolette’s wife gave birth to their second son, Jack Laviolette. Like his brother, Jack also attended Proctor Academy, where he was involved in various activities, including hockey, golf, and snowboarding. Then, he went to Florida Gulf Coast University, where he studied Entrepreneurship.
In addition, Peter Laviolette’s baby boy is pursuing aviation school at Paragon Flight. He also played hockey at FGCU in the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Division II. Currently, he is working as a Salesperson at Atlantic Key Energy.
