She grew up in Bellevue, Kentucky, with her siblings, Rob Rothfuss, Rick Rothfuss, and Elizabeth Rothfuss. Unfortunately, Amy Cauthen’s sister, Elizabeth West, passed away on January 22, 2018, due to cancer.

It must have been tough for Amy to lose her sister. Nevertheless, growing up with three siblings, Amy might have had wonderful times. Furthermore, she went to Notre Dame Academy. She continued her education by enrolling in the class of 1988 at Northern Kentucky University (NKU).
From there, Mrs. Cauthen graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Management degree and a Dance minor. Then, she attended Salmon P. Chase College of Law, where she majored in law. She graduated in 1991 and has a Juris Doctorate.
Met In England
Sometimes, the universe works mysteriously. Born and raised in Kentucky, Steve and Amy only met for the first time in 1987 at Cambridge Station. Steve Cauthen’s other half was studying in England then, and he was jockeying. After that ride, they became connected and developed a strong friendship.
With time came the realization and a deep understanding of strengthening their relationship, so the lovely couple tied the knot on January 4, 1992. Amy Cauthen’s husband admits she has significantly influenced his success and achievements.

Steve Cauthen’s Wife Is a Doting Mom
In all these years of being a husband and wife, the couple has been blessed with three daughters. In April 1994, Steve Cauthen’s spouse gave birth to their daughter, Katelyn Cauthen. Then, in November 1995, the family welcomed their second child Kelsey Cauthen. Finally, the arrival of Karlie Cauthen in November 1995 completed the Cauthen family.
Before welcoming their children, the duo used to reside in England, where he moved in 1979 for racing purposes. The duo used to reside in a gatehouse in an estate in Newmarket and had two bedrooms without closets. In March 1994, the couple returned to Kentucky and raised their kids on their 300-acre farm in Walton, Kentucky. Furthermore, Steve Cauthen’s children have already grown up and have followed a different career path than him.

Is a Dance Teacher
Despite having a Juris Doctorate, Steve Cauthen’s other half never practiced law because she moved to England upon marrying him. She had a knack for dancing from a very young age and started to dance when she was a little girl. Furthermore, Amy Cauthen’s first teacher inspired a love for dance in her.
While in high school, Amy danced and was in cheerleading, running track, and playing the flute and piano. At NKU, she minored in dance and took dance classes every semester. Upon moving back to Kentucky, she became a stay-at-home.
When their three daughters started to dance, Steve Cauthen’s significant other, Amy Rothfuss, also decided to put her experience to good use and taught them until the youngest could drive herself to dance. She owns a dance studio in Kentucky, Confidance. She is a dance instructor and studio owner. She co-founded the studio with her daughter, Katelyn.
