Where Did Chapter 6 End?
The second installment in the Boruto manga concluded its sixth chapter with a fantastic cliffhanger. Mitsuki chases after Boruto and catches up, thus hinting at a mighty fight between the two.

The new chapter was officially released on February 20, 2024, guaranteeing a clash between Mitsuki and Boruto. The opening page reveals Mitsuki reminiscing about calling Kawaki his sun instead of Boruto.
Mitsuki immediately went to Sage Mode and launched the attack; however, our lead, who has trained for the last three years with Uchiha Sasuke, evaded the attack but did not counterattack.
Shikamaru and Ino are also closely monitoring the clash between the two shinobis. Boruto quickly took the upper hand and put a sword on Mitsuki’s neck. He further explains that he and Kawaki switched places, confusing Mitsuki.
Boruto leaves Mitsuki confused after telling him the truth about Kawaki. Similarly, Nara Shikamaru and Yamanaka Ino, listening to the boy’s conversation, find out that Uzumaki Naruto and Hyuga Hinata are alive.
Furthermore, the son of the Seventh Hokage shares everything about Eida’s powers and Kawaki taking his place to the two-thirds of OG Ino-Shika-Cho. Both of them, still surprised and confused, agree to help Boruto after discovering the truth. However, the acting Hokage asks Boruto to be a vigilante still until the plan is accomplished.
Elsewhere, The Shinjus, evolved God Trees, who are still learning about the world, decide to visit Uzumaki Naruto to get answers to some unknown questions. However, we know that Hinata and Naruto are in a coma-like state in the Daikokuten Dimension, where time stays still.

What to Expect From Chapter 8?
Masashi Kishimoto, the mangaka of Naruto and Boruto, is a genius writer. So, to predict his next move is nearly impossible.
Still, we can expect to see Naruto and Hinata in the next chapter as the Shinjus plan to visit them in the Daikokuten Dimension. Further, Other than Uchiha Sarada and Kakei Sumire, Shikamaru and Ino have also learned about Kawaki and Boruto’s place swapping.
