Paris Hilton’s Hobbies May Come as a Surprise to You

We all know Paris Hilton as a socialite and party girl, but she has always had the ability to surprise people and this is reflected in her hobbies. She has hobbies that reflect The Simple Life, the title of her first reality show with fellow socialite Nicole Richie. One of her little-known hobbies is that she loves scrapbooking and she also creates albums as gifts for friends. She also takes the opportunity to be creative by sketching designs for her handbag and footwear lines.

The 41-year-old has expressed a passion for fishing and has played ice hockey and basketball. She has attended NBA games at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and she is a Los Angeles Rams fan. She shared a photo of herself and her husband, author and entrepreneur Carter Reum, wearing Los Angeles Rams jerseys just before the Super Bowl final, which her hometown team won against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Her love of sport is matched by her love of gambling. The hotel heiress, who has an estimated net worth of $300 million, loves playing blackjack. She once won $50,000 playing blackjack in Atlantic City following a DJ residency at the legendary Pool After Dark at Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City. Celebrities such as Hilton have helped casinos become mainstream and the accessibility of online casinos has also contributed to this change in perception. The growth in this area can be seen with how live blackjack betting and other games can be found at a massive range of online casinos, each with different variants and spins on the traditional title.

Hilton is also a passionate poker player and, evidently, the association with celebrities such as her has contributed to the popularity of casino table games, although poker is slightly separate from this as it had a boom in the late 90s and early 2000s that was largely due to the rise in poker sites and online casinos that offered it, as well as popular films such as Rounders.

We also know that Hilton enjoys cooking from her show Cooking with Paris on Netflix, which featured guests such as her best friend Kim Kardashian West, singer Demi Lovato and comedian Nikki Glaser. However, the series was canceled after just one season.

Most recently, we have seen her in the reality show Paris in Love, which followed Paris and Carter as they planned their wedding and also featured her sister Nicky and mother Kathy. The newlyweds spend their honeymoon in London which she shared with her fans through her YouTube series entitled My Dream Honeymoon.

The wedding itself was a three-day, star-studded extravaganza. The happy couple tied the knot at the former Bel Air estate of her late grandfather, wearing a total of seven different outfits for her wedding weekend. Paris wore a Grace Kelly-inspired Oscar de la Renta wedding gown, before changing a further three times after the ceremony. Guests attended a carnival at LA’s Santa Monica pier the next day where Paris wore a pink dress. Two further dresses were worn for the third night of celebrations. This vast array of wedding outfits shows that fashion is clearly her number one hobby. It is hoped that Paris will now enjoy a more peaceful and fulfilling life and we will no longer read about her being involved in celebrity feuds.

As we see Paris Hilton enter a new period of her life as a married woman, she is sure to still have time to devote herself to her favorite hobbies.
