Having been in the coaching arena for several years now, John Harbaugh is a popular name among sports enthusiasts. The head coach of the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League has been serving in the position since 2008. He hails from a sports family and has made a good name for himself in the sports world.
Talking about his love life, John has been happily married to Ingrid Harbaugh for many years now. The duo that met at Western Michigan University has welcomed a child together. So, is John Harbaugh’s daughter, Alison Harbaugh, also into football? What is she doing these days? Let’s find out more in this article.
Only Child Of Her Parents
Alison was born to her dad, John, and her mother, Ingrid Harbaugh. Alison Harbaugh’s father is a popular NFL coach, and currently head coaches the Ravens. He has been coaching for almost four decades now and has earned considerably. On the other hand, Alison’s mom is a housewife and has supported her old man through every phase of life.
As the only child of her parents, John Harbaugh’s little girl must be pampered really well by him and Ingrid. She must be growing up having a wonderful time. Also, because of her dad’s enormous fortune, he must be fulfilling her every need without worries.
Is A Lacrosse Player
Being a kid of a sports personality, many might be wondering if John Harbaugh’s daughter is also interested in sports. Furthermore, not only Alison’s dad but her grandfather, Jack Harbaugh, and her uncle, Jim Harbaugh, are also involved in the NFL.
Just like her family members, Alison has also caught a sports bug. However, it is a different sport than the sport that her dad, uncle, and granddad played. She is currently enrolled at the University of Notre Dame and is on the women’s lacrosse team. Prior to that, she went to The Bryn Mawr School.
At high school, John’s baby girl served as the lacrosse team captain and even earned IAAM All-Conference Lacrosse honors in 2020. She also played basketball and tennis and earned three varsity letters and one varsity letter, respectively. As a captain, the student-athlete led the team to a conference title in 2020. As a result, she was able to earn the IAAM Character Coin Award.
In November 2019, Alison committed to playing sports in college among eight other seniors. In 2020, she graduated high school but did not get the chance to experience the milestone of walking across the stage in a traditional graduation ceremony. Her final spring sports season was also canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In addition, as per her commitment, Ms. Harbaugh went to Notre Dame and currently plays on the women’s lacrosse team. During the 12 weeks of the state-ordered lockdown in June 2020, her dad trained her to keep sharp at the game she loves.

The Father And Daughter Are Together In Every National Anthem
Ever since Alison was in fifth grade, she used to work on the field and delivered papers to the coaches. One day, her dad called her to join him in singing the national anthem, which became a special tradition for the father-daughter duo. But after she joined the college, they must be missing it.
Alison once described that it was difficult for her to face people after losing the game. But, at moments like that, her mom taught her to say she was proud of her dad and the team. So, all in all, John Harbaugh’s daughter seems to be supporting him wholeheartedly.
