Spurs’ coach Gregg Popovich even held a vote to decide if Kerr’s son could stay in the film room. He was unanimously voted out of the team before Pop let him stay. Gregg Pop used to coach Nick Kerr’s father, Steve. Therefore, they have had good terms for a long time.
