The American footballer represented his high school and the San Diego Surf Soccer Club until he was 19. Then, in 2007, he got a scholarship to the University of California, Berkeley. Servando had seven points on two goals and three assists in his first season. In 2010, he served as senior co-captain of the Berkeley team alongside good buddy A. J. Soares, a Viking FK defender.
His Soccer Career
Servando Carrasco is a professional soccer player who spent most of his career in Major League Soccer. He joined Seattle Sounders FC on March 2, 2011, and made his professional debut against the New York Red Bulls on March 19. Alex Morgan’s husband scored his first career goal for Seattle in a 3-2 win over Vancouver Whitecaps FC on June 8, 2013.
Besides, Carrasco’s fans applauded him for sharing the field with one of the greatest soccer players of all time, Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Has Not Played Since 2020
Alex Morgan’s husband has played as a defensive midfielder for several MLS clubs, including Fort Lauderdale CF. However, he has not played any competitive games since 2020. He departed from the LA Galaxy at the end of the 2019 season after the club did not give him a contract renewal extension. As a result, Servando was a free agent until December 27, 2020, but Fort Lauderdale CF signed him for the 2020 season.
The American midfielder appeared in 12 games while wearing jersey number #5 as a player of Fort Lauderdale. He appeared in 213 games throughout his career, recording two goals, six assists, 30 yellow cards, and one red card. However, he has not played for any club since 1st December 2020, but Servando Carrasco’s retirement has not been publically announced yet. So, why he has remained away from the soccer scene remains a mystery for now.

Servando Carrasco has been happily married to his wife, Alex Morgan, for eight years. They first encountered each other while playing soccer at the University of California, Berkeley. Servando proposed to Alex in December 2013, and the couple married a year later on New Year’s Eve in 2014. They exchanged vows at Rancho Dos Pueblos in Santa Barbara, California.
The couple had the good fortune to play in the same city for a time. Servando played for Orlando City, and Alex competed for Orlando Pride. However, Servando’s contract option was turned down in 2017, and L.A. Galaxy selected him. While it was difficult for their marriage, both players understood it was a price they had to pay for their professions.
