The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers men’s basketball is the team representing Coastal Carolina University. The team currently competes in the Sun Belt Conference. Robert Clifford Ellis, also known as Cliff Ellis, is its head coach. In his several decades of coaching career, the coach has gained immense fame and fortune.

The couple met for the first time when Carolyn was a junior in high school. She was asked to hostess a reception for incoming first-year students at Chipola Junior College. That was where the pair met for the first time.
Shortly after, Cliff and Carolyn began dating and eventually got married. As per a 2008 article, the couple’s love story was 44 years long, which signifies that Cliff Ellis’ wife was with him before he gained fame and prominence. The married duo is still together, and their love story has only grown stronger.
Welcomed Three Children Together
In over five decades of being together, Carolyn and her husband became the parents of three kids. Cliff Ellis’ wife, Carolyn Ellis, gave birth to their three children, Chryssa Ellis, Clay Ellis, and Anna Catherine Ellis. Their kids have already grown up and are doing great in their lives.
Carolyn and Cliff also have five grandchildren. Their daughter, Chryssa Rutland, shares a marital life with Tony Rutland and has two children, Hannah Grace Rutland and Ellis Rutland. Furthermore, Carolyn’s other daughter, Anna Catherine Moore is happily married to Marty Moore. The Moore couple has three kids, Abbey Moore, Sarah Moore, and Micah Moore.

In November 2005, Carolyn entered Alabama politics by running for the Legislature. She had announced making a Democratic run for the House seat held by Mike Hubbard, a House Minority Leader who sought re-election. She almost won the election as a Democrat running in a heavily Republican district.
However, it is not known if Carolyn has continued in the field of politics. She revealed that she never regretted the attempt in politics and views it as an opportunity for sharing messages regarding the need for strong education reform. As an English teacher herself, she wanted to solve the issue in the field. Carolyn might not have run in other elections, but her first attempt was a success, and she was able to win the hearts of many.
Runs A Foundation With Her Husband
Apart from being involved in education and politics, Carolyn has also been involved in philanthropy. She formed a foundation with her husband to raise awareness of the issues faced by South Carolina and seek resources to solve them.
Cliff Ellis’ wife had a dream of establishing a model childcare center in partnership with Coastal Carolina University and Horry Georgetown Technical College. The childcare center would also work to provide the parents of the kids with the life-changing opportunity to go to college. She might be working to fulfill her dream and must be helping several people in their community.
