Johnny Jones’ Wife Worked As A Realtor
The head coach’s better half worked in the education system when he coached the team, North Texas Mean Green. At that time, the Southern University graduate managed her time between earning her master’s degree, a full-time job, and raising two children. It must have been tough for her, but she made it.
During her hubby’s stint with LSU, Kelli started working as a realtor with Keller Williams. It also marked the first time she had worked outside of the school system since she got married. Hopefully, the head coach’s partner is continuing her professional career.
First Met In Baton Rouge
Kelli and her husband first met in Baton Rouge after being introduced by John Hamilton. The lovely pair’s first date was at Rick’s Jazz Club on College Drive. After dating for a while, the duo tied the knot in late 1998. Since then, the Jones couple have been happily together.
Johnny Jones‘ wife, who became accustomed to the coaching schedule during their dating, soon realized the demands it puts on a marriage, especially when children were born. Talking with Tiger Rag, Kelli recalled how hard it was when their kids were little, and the coach was always recruiting.
The beautiful lady added that they never lived where they had family, so she was a single mother for several months out of a year. Nevertheless, the Texas Southern Tigers coach was also dedicated to family, which continues till date. Additionally, the Baton Rouge native said her husband does his very best, she stressed very best, to make everything he can for their babies.
It seems the coach was pulled in a lot of different directions trying to make sure he can meet his family obligations and his responsibility to his team.
Is A Mother Of Two
The Jones couple has welcomed two adorable kids. Their first baby, John Jones, was born in June 1998. Shortly after, Kelli and Johnny Jones’ daughter, Jillian Jones or, Jill Jones, arrived in January 2000.
The Jones siblings appear to have a solid bond with each other. As they don’t have much age gap, they must have grown up as playmates. In addition, Johnny Jones’ little girl frequently shares pictures together with her brother on social media.
