Samuel George Hurd III, also known as Sam Hurd, is an American football player who used to play as wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League. Sam Hurd and Stace Green’s marital life was going well, and six years into their marriage, the duo even welcomed a child. However, their happy life crumbled down when he was arrested for drug smuggling/trafficking.
In December 2011, Stacee Green’s husband was arrested in Chicago for an alleged attempt to purchase and distribute a huge amount of marijuana and cocaine. He then faced federal drug charges in the Dallas Division of the Northern District of Texas. In January 2012, he pleaded not guilty to setting up a drug-dealing network.
Again in August 2012, Stacee’s beau was arrested again for violating his bond after he failed two drug tests. Upon failing his drug test in May and July, a federal judge later ordered him to be jailed indefinitely. He then faced a sentence of 10 years, which later increased to 15 years in November 2013.
It must have been hard for Sam Hurd’s wife after he was jailed. Nevertheless, she has been supporting him relentlessly. Let’s hope Sam and Stacee reunite soon, and they continue living a wonderful life.
