Then, the next day, Tara Lipinski’s beau mentioned to his aunt, Senior White House Correspondent Chris Jansing that she was the one who presented him with the award. During the conversation, he discovered that his aunt and Lipinski had become friends while covering the Olympics a few years back. He then convinced her to introduce them.
Later, the duo decided to go on a date in May 2015. Todd thought it was going to be their first date. But roughly 24 hours before the said date, Tara emailed him notifying how she was bringing 18 friends as well. After that, the pair went out on many dates, and their relationship progressed.

Then, in December 2015, the pair went on a dinner date. Todd knew Tara loved holiday window displays. The couple had gone to Manhattan’s iconic Plaza Hotel, and he said there was a window he thought she’d like to see.
There, Mr. Kapostasy convinced the hotel to let him take one of their displays over. It was the painting of him proposing to her in front of her home in California. And, when the commentator turned around, her partner was already on his knee.

The lovebirds shared the news of their engagement on their respective social media handles. On May 21, 2016, the couple celebrated their engagement at the elegant Mr. C Beverly Hills hotel in California. Tara wore a lacy, white mini dress with a detachable full skirt. She shared with The Knot that they were excited when they planned the event and had been anticipating the evening for weeks.

Todd And Tara’s Fairytale Wedding
The couple was engaged for 18 months before tying the knot. Lipinski and Kapostasy shared their wedding vows on June 26, 2017. The couple said their I do’s in an ultra-romantic wedding ceremony that took place at Middleton Place in Charleston, South Carolina. Before that, the pair did a four-day joint Bachelor/Bachelorette party.
The bride donned a 20-foot tulle skirt, and her bridesmaids wore floral head wreaths. Likewise, the flower girls carried baskets made by her mom, Pat Lipinski. The guests arrived two days before the wedding for a pre-ceremony celebration. It took place at Boone Hall in Mount Pleasant.
Around 245 guests were present, including Bob Costas, Jill Costas, Scott Hamilton, Andrea Joyce, Dan Patric, Johnny Weir, and her former Olympics coach. Also, Johnny was her bridesman. It was a fairy tale wedding, and the bride and groom looked stunning. Moreover, Tara Lipinski’s husband teared up watching her glide down the 200-foot aisle.
Following the ceremony, the Kapostasy couple treated guests with boozy popsicles and headed to a lavish tent complete with rose garlands, chandeliers, and a customized dance floor. This was all designed by Tara, and the pair’s first dance was to William Fitzsimmons‘ Everywhere. The ultra-chic Southern wedding was the talk of the town.

Currently, Tara’s spouse works as a feature producer at FOX Sports. He has produced several videos. For instance, he produced a video featuring Muhammad Ali that aired before the 2017 Super Bowl. But, Muhammad Ali Enterprises later sued Fox Broadcasting Company for $30 million, claiming it did not have the green light.
