Candiace’s mother, Dorothy, and father Walter went to the same college to study medicine. Both of them are physicians and were each other’s first loves. They were together for a long period of time, even before their marriage. However, just before exchanging their marital vows, Dorothy’s then-fiance decided to cheat on her and had a tryst with somebody in the college, which resulted in pregnancy.
A few years into the marriage, Dorothy found out about the incident and then decided to get a divorce. She hates to recall those moments, even today. Dorothy had three children with Walter, namely: Candiace Dillard, Chris Dillard, and Crystal Dillard.

As of now, Candiace Dillard’s mother, Dorothy, has already moved on in her life. Dorothy had even slapped Candiace’s face with a big purse on one of the episodes of the RHOP. When people asked Candiace to press charge against her mother, she replied
