Husband quits BBC Show to Spend Time with Wife and Family
The lovebirds, Elena and Gleb, met in a dance studio in Moscow. However, now-couple started off as friends and their chemistry flourished. The lovebirds are officially a couple since 2006 and are still going strong. Eventually, Gleb and Elena dated a couple of years before deciding to walk down the aisle together. The pair exchanged their vows in an auspicious ceremony in the presence of their family and friends.
The Russian professional dancer left the BBC show, Strictly Come Dancing, to spend more time with his wife and family. Working on the show made it really difficult for Gleb as he used to work in the US, while his family remained in Russia. According to Gleb, wife Elena and his adorable daughters are his top priorities and family is more important than fame. Likewise, missing out and not being able to see his family for over six months infuriated him. Furthermore, the 34-year-old Gleb took the offered deal from Dancing With The Stars, that allowed the Savechenko family to be together in the US.
The soulmates, Elena and her husband, Gleb have mastered the art of balancing parenthood with their career over the years. According to Gleb, the secret to their longlasting marriage is that the pair remains focused on their own business while they are working. However, when they are at home, they are just a happy husband and wife who love each other and enjoy each other’s company.
