Lindsey Horan’s boyfriend was born in April 1991 to his mother, Paula Heaps, and his father. Furthermore, he grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota, with his four siblings, Greta Heaps, Abby Bathke, Sara Eugene, and Jacob Heaps. Growing up in a big family, Tyler must have had a wonderful time.

Tyler went to DeLaSalle HS, where he played soccer for four years and was in all-conference all four years. Besides he also played football, basketball and participated in track for two, three, and two years, respectively.
In 2010, Lindsey Horan’s beau, who was a member of the National Honors Society, joined Augsburg University, where he majored in Mathematics. He loved soccer when he was just a little guy and used to kick a ball around the backyard with his siblings. His love for the sport made him play soccer in high school, and he continued to do it in college.
In the 2010 season, Heaps played 21 games and recorded two assists. The following season, he played and started 18 games and even earned Academic All-MIAC Honors. In the 2012 season, he recorded one goal and five assists in 18 games he played and started. In 2013, he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics degree. Tyler, who minored in Computer Science, had a 3.94 GPA.
His Math Major Came In Handy For USWNT
Tyler Heaps’ girlfriend, Lindsey, has been showcasing her brilliant playing skills with USWNT on-field. On the other hand, he has been showing his skills off-field, which is equally important. He started his analytics career with a human resource firm and eventually joined U.S. Soccer in January 2016 as Coordinator of Analytics & Research. In August 2017, he was promoted to Manager of Analytics & Research and then to Director of Sporting Analytics in January 2020.
Heaps’ professional work in data analysis helped him to get involved with USWNT as it competed in the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Lyon, France. Finally, on July 7, 2019, all the hard work paid off when the team won its second consecutive World Cup. He noted that his small role in helping the team win the seven-game series and the World Cup was one of his life’s most rewarding and challenging experiences, which he will never forget.

Since February 2021, Lindsey Horan’s boyfriend has been working as a Head of Sporting Technology & insights. His work includes executive, analysis, performance, and recruitment. Besides analytics, the NWSL star’s beau worked as a trainer and coach at Woodbury Soccer Club, Assistant Soccer Coach at St. Catherine University, and a soccer coach at Minnesota Thunder Academy.
