Movie Actors and Their Favorite NFL Teams

Movie actors spend their lives entertaining the rest of us with chart-topping blockbusters. They need time to relax and wind down. Many love the NFL and their NFL teams. Let us find out about your movie stars and their NFL teams.

Samuel L. Jackson and the Atlanta Falcons

Everyone wouldn’t expect this famous actor to be interested in Falcons odds, but he does. Jackson spent time in Morehouse College, Atlanta, and became a big fan of the Falcons. While at Morehouse, he used to work at the concession stand during the team’s games.

Apart from appearing on the sidelines various times, Jackson has also appeared in multiple team commercials. He has vast knowledge about the game and has a chance of becoming a coach if he ever quits acting.

Brad Pitt and the New Orleans Saints

Brad is a big fan of the New Orleans Saints, particularly Drew Brees, although the quarterback is now retired. Like many others, he has referred to Brees as his best quarterback in the league.

No wonder he doesn’t hesitate to defend himself from critics. Brad got a chance to meet Brees when they met on a balcony during the French Quarter, and they became friends. Despite Brees being retired today, Brad never hesitates to support the Saints wherever he gets the opportunity.

Mark Wahlberg and the New England Patriots

Mark is very attached to Boston and is a big fan of the Patriots despite being from New England. He’s among the team’s outspoken fans among its many celebrity supporters. Mark has supported the Patriots all his life, thanks to his upbringing in Boston.

He wagered on the Pats winning Super Bowl LII once, although they lost to the Eagles. He also placed a small bet on the Eagles, so he didn’t lose much. You would expect this from professional bettors, not an action-packed movie star.

Vince Vaughn and the Chicago Bears

Vince loves everything about Chicago, from the museums to the architecture to the Chicago Bears. He’s been seen watching the game various times in private boxes. Vince got a chance of a lifetime to become part of the team’s history as a narrator in ESPN’s “30 for 30”.

Gene Hackman and the Jacksonville Jaguars

This legendary actor started supporting the Jaguars in 2003 when his friend Jack Del Rion coached the team for eight years. Hackman is living a quiet life and may still be a strong team supporter, although he’s not public about it.

Adam Sandler and the New York Jets

Being from New York made Sandler decide whether to support the Big Blue or the Gang Green. He spent his early life in Brooklyn, and he’s a strong supporter of the Jets.

You can’t overlook elements of the Jets in most of his movies, like Little Nicky and Mr Deeds. Sandler is a common sight on the sidelines or relaxing in the comfy private box wherever the team is playing. However, he hasn’t brought good luck to his team lately.

Bradley Cooper and the Philadelphia Eagles

In the movie Silver Linings Playbook, Cooper’s fandom for the Eagles was real. Having lived his early life in Philadelphia, he’s been supporting the Eagles all his life. However, don’t expect to see him as the rowdy fan he portrayed in the movie.

Cooper sits with Jeffrey Lurie, the Eagles owner, during the team’s big games, like the win against the Patriots during Super Bowl LII. The team has capitalized on his support and asked him to do voiceovers for its hype videos—something only big fans do.
