Rafael Souza dos Anjos, commonly known as Rafael dos Anjos is a Brazilian-American MMA fighter in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). The 37-year-old is a former UFC lightweight champion nicknamed El Gatito. He started learning jiu-jitsu at the early age of 9. Rafael made his debut at UFC 91 versus Jeremy Stephens but unfortunately lost the bout in the third round.
Besides being a prizefighter, Rafael is also a family man. Anjos is married to his lovely spouse, Cristiane dos Anjos. Furthermore, the couple has welcomed two adorable children together.

Anjos met his future spouse, Cristiane dos Anjos, then Cristiane Grugel, in a tournament in Brazil. She was working as a ring-girl and producer in the event. However, just hours prior to the fight, Cristiane was handed the task of calling out the fighters’ names.
The event had two fighters with “dos” between their name. The other fighter was former UFC Heavyweight champion, Junior dos Santos. So, instead of calling out Rafael’s real name, Cristiane uttered Rafael dos Santos. This incident caused the pair to have their first interaction with each other. After the bout was over, Anjos came to Grugel and asked for her phone number.
Recalling this incident, Rafael dos Anjos’ wife revealed it was love at first sight for her when he walked up to her to ask her number. As for the MMA artist, many online sites have stated that he was not into serious relationships before meeting his life partner. Well, it looks like Rafael and Cristiane are match-made in heaven.

Mother of Three
The lovebirds fell for each other and got married a while after their first meeting. However, the couple’s marriage date and location have not been revealed yet but, they have been together since 2007. During their marriage, Rafael and Cristiane have welcomed two children together.
Rafael dos Anjos’s wife, Cristiane dos Anjos gave birth to the duo’s first son, Rafael dos Anjos Filho, in December 2008. He is trying to pursue a gaming career at just 13 years old. Alongside his studies, the junior Rafael is a co-leader of a gaming clan called GL1NT. Furthermore, the passionate teenager also has his own YouTube channel.
Similarly, the duo welcomed their second son, Roginho dos Anjos in September 2018, ten years after their first child. The youngest one in the Anjos household must be getting all the love and attention from his parents and siblings.
Furthermore, Rafael dos Anjos’ wife, Cristiane is also the mother of another boy named Gustavo B. Mello. It is believed that the child is from her first marriage. However, Gustavo can be seen with the family frequently.
In addition, Cristiane’s husband, Rafael treats Mello like his own son, spending time in the gym together training him.
