Michael’s public relations team shared a message on March 3 on X (formerly Twitter) regarding his health update. They wrote that the comedian was taken to the hospital for an emergency operation to remove his kidney stones.

However, the tweet also assured that the show would be rescheduled for a later date. The people who could not make it to the new date will have their money refunded.
This was the second time Michael had to cancel his shows. The same thing happened on February 29 when the show scheduled to go live at Plymouth Pavilions was canceled due to health issues.
