In his career spanning over 40 years, the late American national served as a radioman, voice actor, and producer. Dodson, a fan favorite at conventions, voiced several iconic characters in popular movies.
Similarly, some of Mark’s other works include Star Wars: Return of the Jedi and Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens. He played Salacious Crumb and Niima Scavenger, respectively.
Furthermore, the Missouri native had voice roles in multiple video games and commercials such as Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Star Trek Online, Heroes of Newerth, and many more.

The American voice actor who gave his majestic voice to some of the iconic characters in the entertainment industry sadly passed away on March 2, 2024.
Dodson was in Evansville, Indiana, to appear at Horror Con. He suffered a massive heart attack while he was asleep.
Horror Con shared a tribute on their social media handles after the passing of a vital member of the film fraternity.

The voice actor was married and had a child and multiple grandchildren. He has not mentioned much about his personal life. So, His wife, kids, and grandkids live away from the camera.
