What Are the Accusations Against Willis?
Due to allegations that Ms. Willis had a romantic involvement with a subordinate, Donald Trump‘s attorneys are seeking to exclude Ms. Willis from the Georgia election case. The court will further decide the outcomings.
Although there was no proof of involvement, the claims regarding the alleged relationship between Nathan Wade and Willis were brought up in a lawsuit earlier this month.
In addition, Michael Roman claimed that Wade took Willis on vacation to Miami and California. Further, he asserted that Wade received over $650,000 from the district attorney’s office. However, he didn’t put out any evidence. Also, he requested the county to drop the charges and wants Willis out of the case.

Judge McAfee, who is overseeing the election lawsuit, ordered Willis’ office until February 2 to address the accusations.
Wade and she have not responded to Roman’s allegations in the public sphere, although the district attorney’s office promised to address them in court documents.
But earlier this month, Willis defended hiring Wade, citing his “impeccable credentials,” at a lecture at Atlanta’s historic Black church, Big Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church. She avoided addressing the accusations made against them directly.
Thus, it looks like Fani will have to answer many questions as she has been subpoenaed in an evidentiary hearing soon.

When Will the Hearing Take Place?
The alleged lovers, Nathan and Fani have received subpoenas to testify at a court hearing on February 15, 2024. So, the court proceedings will announce whether to dismiss Wade’s indictment and suspend them and the DA’s office from the case.
