Not A Good Start To 2023 For Bastianini

The Ducati rider was involved in a collision during the second lap of the inaugural MotoGP sprint race. Luca Marini, a VR46 Ducati competitor, triggered the crash.

Fortunately, Enea Bastianini’s injury didn’t require surgery. Hence, he was expected to return for Spanish MotoGP on April 30, but when the time came, Bastianini pulled out, citing pain and lack of strength.

Bastianini’s retirement from April’s race means he still has not scored a point in 2023 and has not finished a single race since his move to the factory Ducati team.
