Stephen John Nash, also known as Steve Nash, is a well-known professional basketball coach from Canada. He currently serves for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association. Steve spent 18 seasons in the NBA, playing for different teams.

The Brooklyn Nets head coach is happily married to Lilla Frederick. The duo met for the first time in August 2015. But they have not revealed where they met. Furthermore, in November 2015, the pair made their relationship public through an Instagram post.
In March 2016, while the duo was vacationing together in Palma De Mallorca, Spain, Steve popped the question. The engaged couple shared the news via social media. Then, after a couple of months in September 2016, Steve and Lilla walked down the aisle. The lovebirds shared some beautiful wedding pictures on their social media handle.
It has already been over five years since Steve got married to Lilla. Their marriage seems to be going well. Furthermore, the smitten pair gush about each other on their social media accounts and often share adorable pictures.
Steve Nash’s Wife Gave Birth To His Two Children
As mentioned earlier, it has been over five years since Steve and Lilla exchanged the vows. During several years of togetherness, the lovely couple welcomed two children together.
In January 2017, the couple announced their pregnancy through a New Year post. Later, Steve Nash’s wife, Lilla, gave birth to their son, Luca Sun Nash, in July 2017. The new parents shared the news of the child’s birth through posts on their respective Instagram posts.

Similarly, in December 2018, Lilla shared the news of her second pregnancy. She shared an adorable family picture and notified they were expecting a baby girl in July. In June 2019, Lilla gave birth to her daughter, Ruby Jean Nash, with her hubby Steve Nash. The duo shared the news of their little girl’s arrival to the fans.
Steve and Lilla are raising their children with immense love and care.

Lilla Previously Played Volleyball
Steve has made a great name for himself in the basketball world. He has a wonderful family and a supportive wife who is there for him at every moment. Just like him, his spouse was also involved in sports, but a different type.
In 2008, Steve Nash’s wife, Lilla Nash, graduated from Cornelia Connelly High School. She played volleyball while she was a high school student. As per Prepvolleyball.com, she was a Volleyball Magazine Fab 50 selection and the country’s #41 recruit. After completing high school studies, Frederick attended Pepperdine University, where she continued her playing career.
Before joining college, Lilla played with the USA Junior National Team during the summer of 2008 and 2009. She even played with the youth national team.
Lilla’s collegiate volleyball was pretty successful. She won a number of tournaments and even secured some prestigious awards. She became AVCA All-American twice in sand volleyball and was ranked 12th in the Pepperdine record book.
Frederick has already stopped playing. However, it is not known what profession she follows. Nevertheless, she must be earning significantly as a result of her work.
Has Three Stepchildren
As mentioned earlier, Steve and Lilla have two children together. Before marrying her, Lilla Frederick’s husband was married to Alejandra Amarilla. The former couple had met in Manhattan in 2001 and went out for four years before tying the knot in June 2005.
The ex-pair was married until 2010. When they were together, they welcomed three children, twin daughters and a son.
Lilla Frederick’s stepdaughters are Lola Nash and Bella Nash and her stepson is Matteo Nash. Furthermore, Steve Nash’s wife is close with her three stepchildren. They often spend several holidays together.
