The horse trainer was born on June 26, 1967, in Dallas, Texas, to his dad Jake Pletcher and his mom. At the age of seven, he began working for his father as a hot walker. Talking about his education, he went to James Madison High School in San Antonio, Texas.
Attending the school, Todd might have never thought that his life would change for good. That’s because he stumbled upon someone who became his lifelong partner. Yes, you heard it right.
The trainer met a beautiful girl named Tracy A. Carroll. And, the next thing they know, the couple started their beautiful journey as a couple. Finally, on February 29, 1992, the love birds exchanged their wedding vows.

Todd Pletcher’s Wife is a Doting Mother of Three
As of April 2023, it has been twenty-four years since the Pletcher couple started their beautiful journey as a husband and wife. In all these years of enjoying each other’s company, the married duo also grew a family of five.
Seven years after their marriage, Todd Pletcher’s spouse gave birth to their first child, Payton Pletcher. In 2000, their son, Kyle Pletcher, arrived, followed by their only daughter Hannah Pletcher in 2003. The kids have already grown up and are doing well.
In addition, the family of five enjoys going to the races. Their eldest works in Todd’s barn in the summer and reportedly wants to follow in his footsteps as a trainer. Nonetheless, Todd and Tracy must be proud of what their babies have achieved so far.

Todd Pletcher’s spouse was born Tracy A. Carroll in 1968. She is one of the two children of her dad, Richard R. “Dick” Carroll, and her mom, Barbara Inman Carroll. She grew up in San Antonio, Texas, with her brother, Marc Caroll, who is now married to Jennifer Caroll.
Moreover, Tracy Pletcher’s dad served in the USAF until he retired at the rank of MSgt. He then worked as a Management Analyst in Civil Service for the USAF Air Education Training Command and retired in 2008. Unfortunately, he passed away on November 27, 2011.
Knew the Consequences of Marrying a Horse Trainer

Starting from the bottom, Todd Pletcher’s spouse has been by his side until now. In fact, reminiscing about the time his roster grew to 12 horses, Mrs. Pletcher revealed that it was a big deal, and they could actually fill up a full sheet of paper with their names and schedules.
