Alexander Guy Cook is an English composer, performer, and music producer. He was born on August 23, 1990, and currently serves as CEO of P.C. Music in the United Kingdom. He has collaborated with many artists, including his girlfriend, Alaska Reid. 

Born to English architect Sir Peter Cook and Israeli architect Yael Reisner, he studied at the University of London’s Goldsmiths, where he continued his musical studies. Has A Vast Educational Experience

A. G. Cook’s mother is a Ph.D. holder. She graduated from Ohel Shem in 1971. After completing high school, she went to The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in September 1974. There, she studied BSc. in Biology/Biological Sciences and graduated in July 1977 with Honours. In December 1982, she enrolled at Architectural Association in London, UK. In the same years, she received a degree in Environmental Studies at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design.

Reisner, who holds a BSc in biology degree, graduated with AA Diploma from Architectural Association and became a registered architect in Israel. As mentioned earlier, she is a Ph.D. holder. From October 2004 to May 2009, she went to RMIT University, School of Architecture and Design, and earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Architecture and Design.

A. G. Cook’s Mother Is A Renowned Architect

Dr. Yael Reisner, an architect, juggles her work in architecture with research, education, and curatorial endeavors. A. G. Cook’s mom has her own studio named Yael Reisner Studio, which she established in 1989 and is still running as a freelancer. The studio is based in London, UK, and is dedicated to research-driven initiatives with the objective of experiencing beauty.

Furthermore, Yael’s public works include: Take My Hand, Rights and Weddings, exploring human rights and well-being in Placa de La Merce, Barcelona. Moreover, she also does exhibitions showcasing her design works to the audience. Additionally, the late Will Alsop sent an invitation to Reisner in 2011 to host an exhibition at the TESTBED1 Gallery in Battersea, London.

Additionally, apart from being an architect, Reisner has taught internationally since 2005. She has taught architecture at Lund University, Architectural Associations, and more. She previously taught at UCL The Bartlett for nine years as an M.Arch course coordinator. Moreover, in 2017, she was a guest professor at Peter Behrens School of Arts and Architecture and has been a Ph.D. examiner at RMIT/BCN.

Furthermore, Reisner was chosen to serve on the Council of the Architectural Association, which oversees the organization, in January 2021. A. G. Cook’s mama won the curating of the fifth Tallinn Architecture Biennale in May 2018. Reisner also served as a guest editor for the books Beauty Matters, Human Judgement and the pursuit of New Beauties in Post-Digital Architecture.
